VS2
VS2 (Very Slightly Included 2) diamonds offer a good level of clarity, with small internal inclusions visible under 10× magnification. On the GIA (Gemological Institute of America) clarity scale, VS2 ranks sixth — following FL (Flawless), IF (Internally Flawless), VVS1, VVS2 (Very Very Slightly Included), and VS1 (Very Slightly Included 1).
Inclusions in VS2 diamonds may be slightly larger than those found in VS1 and are more likely to appear closer to the center of the stone. Diamonds under one carat with this clarity grade are typically eye-clean. In larger stones — two carats and above — faint inclusions may occasionally be visible upon close inspection, particularly if they are unfavorably positioned. In most cases, however, they are not visible to the naked eye and do not affect brilliance.
